Enable ADB via USB connection
You can enable ADB with your computer and a USB cable.
- Open SideQuest (Advanced Installer: https://sidequestvr.com/setup-howto)
- Plug your Meta Quest to your computer
- Click on the Wi-Fi icon
- Click on "Connect" button
- Then in QGO, click the "Retry" button

I wanted to add this to my quest 2 I couldn't get ADB to see my headset and I talked to my neighbor and I can't get his to work we both used ADB in the past. Is there a problem with ADB in v72,V74 with quest 2? I see the ADB device in my device manager but the prompt never comes up in my headset.
Hello, my Quest 2 is on v74 and ADB is working fine.
If ADB is disabled, you could restart your Quest and then enable it again via sidequest or via the pairing code method.
What prompt are you talking about ? The one when you connect your headset to the PC ?
I clean loaded my pc last month. I use a virtual desktop a lot now but my Quest 3 worked fine but the 2 did not it turned out even though I had ADB drivers installed. It needed the Oculus Link installed to get the quest 2 to work. I left this detailed note in case anyone is searching for help. Thanks for the answer and the cool APP!

thank you. im just having problems. i installed it on my q2 from my original email and it looked to install fine although i noticed it wasnt showing hd for my ghosts of tabor but thats not important. anyway i enabled automatic in the settings like it shows when you first boot up qgo. after that i got a red message up to that said somthing about my adb wasnt working with a link to fix. i followed those ending with the 1.uninstall qgo
2. reset headset
3. reinstall apk
4. reset headset. i under stand that the instructions onlly called to reset once but i cant remember when but i do know i did it as directed. s
since then on sidequest it showed installed ok but it hasnt showed up in my apps library in unknown sources or anywhere else. the only other thing i an remembrer doing before i uninstalled then renstalled was i attempted to make cgo a shortcut by choosing to put it in place of camera but thats it. any idea why i cant get it to work for me now.

It's symptomatic of an uninstall that went wrong. In sidequest, you should run : adb shell uninstall com.anagan.qgo
Like that then install QGO again. Sometimes, the Meta uninstallation process is not good and then you can't really re install the app, so you have to do a clean install. Don't ask me why ;-D
Is there a update the ad is not working. Think its because of the update
Hello, if ADB is red, simply re enable it ;-) QGO shows you how to do ;-)
The v69 disabled ADB for some users, but just enable it again, it's simple as that :-)
