Some of you may have noticed that the Itch.io QGO page has been recently updated.

Itch.io isn't the best place to make things easy to read.

Another thing has changed is that now QGO is part of the Meta Affiliate program. So in this section : https://www.quest-games-optimizer.com/meta-affiliate-links, you will be able to get $30 Quest cash when purchasing a Meta Quest 3 / 3S or to obtain -10% discounts and sometimes up to -20% on games. Meta pays a commission in return.

New QGO v12.X.X is available with full support of Secondary user installation (please read tutorial and FAQ if questions). So yes, you can now install QGO on secondary accounts and use advanced multi-user features

The Meta Quest OS Horizon v74 is now available for PTC users. But it isn't recommended to update to v74 PTC for the moment. This v74 firmware version is bugged and for broke some dialogs boxes and overlays and broke the installation and the update of .apk files, which means it's no longer possible to install third-party applications like Android apps for the time being. So until Meta fix these bugs, it should be better to stay on v72. Let's see...

If you already are on v74 and want to update QGO, you will have to do that manually with SideQuest or Meta Quest Developer Hub PC apps for example (drag and drop the new apk in SideQuest or MQDH, and that's it. It will install over the existing QGO version).

And the following news is important for us :

• We will soon reach the 1000 optimized games (all played from the beginning to the end and tested for hours, even days for some big games, in every corner and game mode, so that the optimization profiles created correspond perfectly to the tested games). Yes, games'optimization profiles are made by human, not some kind of AI 👍
• the QGO team is growing with new recruits
• QGO will reach in a few days 100,000 users
