- Reboot the Meta Quest and see it still have a problem
- The majority of time, this is a bad configuration or a bad installation on your side or because you didn't follow steps by steps and click by click my installation video guide
- Be sure you are on the latest version of QGO and the latest version of the Meta Quest system
- Uninstall then re-install QGO
- Read the Frequently Asked Questions

I accidently hide a game have been looking around couple hours how to un hide it? Not sure if its a bug or not. Is there a way to un hide an app?
Yep just go to QGO settings and enable the "show hidden apps" option ;-)

Fixed, you can switch to the correct email or uninstall then reinstall QGO

Thank you for your work - the subfolder functionality alone is worth price of admission for me. So nice to get finally rid of the cluttered app display! And it even shows the sideloaded apps! 🫶🏻
Qq - when starting, I see a number of new profiles listed at the bottom and a button LÖSCHEN (delete). Am I right in assuming I only click that button if storage space is an issue AND I'm sure I will never use the apps those new/updated profiles have been created for?

What you see is the notification panel that just tell you when new optimization have been pushed. Nothing more. So you can clear it after you read it.
Ah perfect - so DELETE means "seen that, move on" and not as I understood it before: "I don't need these, delete these profiles to free up space."

Yes it's just an information. QGO only gets the profile related to your installed app ;-)
Is there a way to see the default settings for resolution, refresh rate, CPU level, GPU level, and FFR for a game before running it and using OVR?
Nope, you can only see that with OVR
Had problems with QGO and ADB not working so I uninstalled QGO per instructions and restarted the Quest. When it was done restarting I tried to find the Unknown Sources to reinstall QGO but it's gone. I disabled/enabled Developer mode multiple times, restarted the Quest multiple times but nothing is working. I reuploaded the APK from Sidequest multiple times as well. Yes, I know Unknown Sources is not in the same place as it used to be but it is not in the Applications dropdown either. It's just gone.....Currently running v.71 of the Quest software. I have heard this is because I have two accts on the same unit. If so, is there a work around? The odd part is that Unknown Sources shows when I log into the second acct but that is not the Primary/Admin acct so installing QGO on the second acct won't work for the primary acct.
Unknown sources appears if the developer mode is enabled. So first check that on your headset and now the unknown source sections is under a folder icon with a "?" symbol
Like I said, I have turned Developer Mode on and off multiple times. Unknown Sources shows under my wife's acct when I log into hers but not mine. Mine is the primary/admin acct and the acct I was logged into when I first did all of this. I have used different USB-C cords, restarted the Quest, toggled Developer Mode on/off multiple times, reinstalled the ADB USB drivers, and even installed the Meta Developer Hub. The only thing I have not done yet is delete my wife's acct from the Quest or reset to stock. Sidequest connects fine and is even sideloading QGO because when I go in my wife's acct and look under Unknown Sources, it shows the .apk file with the current date so I know it's installing the apk just fine, I just can't see Unknown Sources on my acct so I can't install QGO.
I don't know how to help you... On my Q3S, I have 2 accounts. First have the new icon, but the second have the unknown sources in the list... So weird too but the fact is I have access to unknown sources on both of my accounts... You should try to google that or to do a factory reset. There seems to be a Meta bug on your headset...
Anyway, if you find a solution, please tell me, I'm curious

You could use the existing Home profiles (HD or HD+ profiles)

Why would you pay again ? When you purchase QGO, it's a lifetime access ;-) And all the updates are free ;-)

lamise a jour ne marche pas pour ma part, ca me dit app non installee ,jai pourtant fait la loooongue procedure pour lavoir sur le casque et je ne trouvz pas lr lien dans mes mails.

oui l'appli est un game changer mais bordel en 2024 jestime avoir quand memr possibilite de ne pas avoir ce genre de problrme pour mettre une appli a jour....il serait judicieux de democratiser cette manoeuvre qui est juste de cliquer sur mise a jour et ca marche ..
Bonjour, la mise à jour se fait très bien de mon côté sur mes 4 casques. Et je viens de retester à l'instant. Je n'ai pour l'instant reçu que votre plainte, sur déjà plus de 5000 personnes ayant fait la mise à jour. Normalement, si vous cliquez sur le bouton mettre à jour en haut de l'app QGO ou dans le panel qui s'ouvre, la mise à jour se fait toute seule.
Si vous souhaitez mettre à jour l'app à la main via sidequest par exemple, oui en effet le lienn de téléchargement est censé se trouver dans l'email reçu lors de votre achat. Quelques rares personnes ont déjà eu des soucis pour installer la mise à jour depuis l'app elle même si utilisation d'un VPN par exemple ou si une app squatte le gestionnaire de package de base. Mais si rien n'as été touché, ca devrait se faire comme sur des roulettes
I just rebooted my headset and now QGO no longer can access ADB on the headset. I've gone through various options, including complete removal/full reinstall to no avail. The native SideQuest app has no problems connecting to the wifi adb.
Hi, I don't know how sidequest do for ADB, but sometimes sidequest also lost ADB. You should uninstall, THEN RESTART THE QUEST (this is an important part), then retry one of the two solution. If you want to switch from solution, you must uninstall and restart the Quest. Did you use the pairing method or the sidequest PC one ?
I tried with sidequest on the pc, and sidequest directly on the headset (though I did not try to install it from there, so that will be next). I wanted to use the code, but the setting screen I have in v69 did not match your video showing how to obtain it (debug options different). I will try sidequest directly from the headset after and uninstall/restart.
What is the screen you see in the pairing code method ?
tl;dr fixed! (and I found what appeared to be the problem totally accidentally)
The paring code issue was my fault. I'll blame old eyes for not seeing the extra 'click' I needed to get to the code screen. Still didn't help. I uninstalled/rebooted/reinstalled SO many times. I even found a 'backup' folder and deleted it. I had just gone through removing EVERYTHING and revoking all USB debugging approvals (which I had done before, to no avail). What FINALLY seems to have made a difference was going to verify developer settings were set in the app for the device (even tho they were showing up in the headset, I was getting a bit desperate here and grasping and anything that even resembled a straw). The app did not think I had ever "completed" the setup for my Q3. I 'completed' it by basically tapping a couple of 'next' buttons, and THIS time when I connected the USB cable to my windows machine for side loading, all the pop-ups showed up like expected. A LOT. I clicked through 4 or 5 "always" options for either machine fingerprints or wifi signals. (oh! and I got the V71 update sometime between today and the last time I wrote).
I had an issue with my headset when I downloaded QGO. It is on the headset but was never installed so I don't have the same button in the window to update software. Should I delete and download again or is there a way to update it from 9.0 to the latest version 11.0?
v9.0 is too old, and don't work anymore on recent Meta Quest versions. You must install the new one
I don't know if it's just me or I'm crazy but I'm noticing this app now breaks the recently added by Meta feature named ''Content Adaptive Brightness Control'' that's inside Experimental and it's driving me nuts
When I launch the game before I ever touch QGO the adaptive brightness option works, until I reopen the game using QGO, so there's something going on in QGO that breaks it, please look into it!
The only game I'm touching is RE4 VR incase that helps
I think it might break it system wide til the next restart and might not be game specific but I'm not 100% sure and could be sure, maybe it's only for the games QGO edits

Okay so I did tests. This isn't a QGO issue nor related to QGO ;-)
I was able to reproduce. If I start VD in the black void environment, I can see the adaptive brightness in action.
But as soon as I have OVR Metrics Tool enabled, this doesn't work. Because OVR overlay is bright over the black bakcground. So the headset doesn't consider it is full dark.
Are you sure it isn't QGO? I don't have OVR Metrics tool enabled, I don't even know where you even enable it for instance

I‘m using the file Manager. I use so many files to Order my Games, that when I want to Order the Game to a Special Game file for Koop Games, I cant confirm it with ok, because I cant scroll down?! Cloud you fix it?
It it possible to use files for uninstalled Games?!
Whatare with the files by Updates? Will it be Updates with the App automaticly?

Is there a reason this setting is is not enabled by default, is there some sort of small decrease in visuals or should I just enable this for free performance? Does forcing the render resolution to 1:1 come with any downsides?
Hi, I never noticed any visual change but a little bit performance, but as official resolution aspect ratio is rectangle, all the profiles are made like they must be, I mean not square.

Bon et bien merci pour la mise à jour qui permet d'enregistrer directement sur le QUEST 3 avec la qualité de compression à 100 mbps.
Les vidéos sont carrément nickel chrome et le rendu dans le casque est vraiment plus agréable.

Je pensais que çà ramerait et que j'aurais des saccades mais les vidéos sortent nickel. C'était un jeu PC donc le cpu et gpu du casque n'étaient pas trop sollicités.
Je vais tester avec un jeu sur le casque genre BATMAN voir si tout suit.
Avec Batman ce sera différent car ici ton casque va travailler en plus de tout
Bon et bien non, à ma grande surprise, l'enregistrement est super fluide et de très bonne qualité.
A croire que la puce graphique snapdragon xr2 est un vrai monstre de puissance.
Par contre les fichiers sont très volumineux. 40 minutes de jeu / 20 Go
Je dois rapidement transférer les fichiers sur le pc pour faire de la place avec mon QUEST 3 128 Go.
Ah, j'avais cru lire que le casque était un peu en PLS avec Batman lors du multi tache et de l'enregistrement video. Et bien tant mieux alors ! :)

Oui c'est normal, c'est car vous avez affecté le Meta store en tant que raccourci QGO dans les paramètres de QGO. Pour revenir en arrière il suffit de supprimer le raccourci
